Looking for accounting jobs in Kalamata, Greece with a focus on real estate and property management? Lithos & Key is hiring! Join our team and build a rewarding career in the dynamic short-term rental and hospitality sector. We're currently seeking an In-House Accountant to serve as our financial compass as we grow across Greece.
The Role
We're looking for a responsible, detail-oriented professional to become the financial backbone of our business. This role combines classic bookkeeping, payment management, financial reporting, and close collaboration with leadership — ideal for someone who wants to see the direct impact of their work on a company's growth.
What You'll Do

Maintain the company's double-entry books daily (General Journal, Subsidiary Ledgers, etc.)

Book and audit accounting documents, including invoices, receipts, and expenses

Manage and monitor the myDATA platform

Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and revenue from booking platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com

Prepare and execute payments to suppliers, property owners, and external partners

Draft monthly financial reports, including cash flow and P&L, and support balance sheet preparation

Collaborate with our external accounting firm on tax compliance and year-end closing

Organize and digitize the company's financial records
What We're Looking For

University or Technical Institution degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

Proven experience maintaining double-entry books (Category C), with a solid grasp of Greek Accounting Standards (ELP)

2+ years of experience in a similar role (in-house or accounting firm); tourism or real estate experience is a plus

Excellent knowledge of accounting software (ERP) and the myDATA platform

Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, for report generation

Good written and spoken English for communication with international partners and owners
